Free Bali Itineraries & Itinerary Planner: Plan Your Trip

Planning a Bali holiday is exciting, until you realise how many places you’ve saved and how difficult it can be to fit everything into one trip. Between choosing where to stay, working out travel times and balancing pool days with adventures, it’s easy to end up with an itinerary that looks wonderful on paper but feels exhausting in real life.

That’s why I’ve brought my free Bali itineraries and planning tools together in one place. Whether you want a ready-made itinerary to follow or a flexible spreadsheet to build your own, you can start here and put together a holiday that suits your time, budget and travel style.

My approach to planning a Bali itinerary

I always recommend starting with the areas you want to stay in rather than trying to squeeze every attraction into a long list. Bali is bigger — and journey times are often longer — than first-time visitors expect. Group activities by area, allow time for travel and leave room for the spontaneous things that make a holiday memorable.

Think about what you actually want from your trip, too. A family holiday with younger children is going to look very different from a girls’ trip, a romantic escape or a week devoted to surfing and beach clubs. You don’t have to see everything to have an incredible time.

Before you fill in your days

If you’re still deciding which part of the island to make your base, start with my Where to Stay in Bali guide or my Bali Personality Quiz to help you decide where to stay in Bali. To help work out what your trip could cost, try the free Bali Budget Calculator. And when departure gets closer, my Bali Packing Checklist will help you get organised.
