Hi, I’m Lila, the person behind The Bali Edit.

I’m an Australian mum of three living in Bali, and I’ve always loved travel, food and discovering the places that make a destination feel special. I’m happiest exploring somewhere new, finding a great place to eat, or planning the next trip.

I created The Bali Edit to make planning Bali easier, more practical and a lot less overwhelming. I’ve made plenty of mistakes myself along the way — overspending, overplanning, underplanning and learning things the hard way — so I’m passionate about helping other travellers avoid the same ones.

This is where I share honest recommendations, useful guides and the places I genuinely think are worth your time, so you can spend less time researching and more time enjoying Bali.
